It took a while to get this post up. I'm home now and after all the hustle and bustle of travel and getting the house back in order it's time to finish up our trip to Italy and Greece.
Here's the key to the photos below:
1. A picture of the Parthenon from the roof of our hotel.
2. That's me (and all the Princess Lines ruise passengers behind me) in front of the Parthenon atop the Acropolis.
3. K and I in front the pillars at the excavation site.
4. The facade to the temple to Athena.
5. K in front of another temple in the Agora.
6. Looking down on the Temple of Zeus from atop the sacred mountain Acropolis.
7. The busy Plaka (shopping zone).
Remember... Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body- but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy s***...what a ride!" ----->Don't let your tombstone read: Died at 30- Buried at 80.

Hi,
I stumbled upon your blog. Those are some nice pics. Have you really been to all the countries listed on your map? I'd love to do that sometime.
A friend of mine wanted me to do some paintings from pictures he took on his trip to Italy. Maybe I'll get around to it. I'd prefer to do things in person but I might do it.
Have fun...looks like you already are.
Brian
