From a recent trip to the Temecula Wine Valley. Look at that snow on the San Bernardino Mountains.

64- Temecula Wineries

Went up to Temecula this afternoon to taste some new wines. We visited three wineries: Calloway, Ponte and Cougar. By far the best was Ponte. The grapes have all been pruned back and are not budding out yet. In fact in the distance there was snow on the mountains... even though it was a warm 75 degrees. All in all a pretty great way to enjoy Spring's arrival in San Diego.

New Wine Label

I'm trying a new look to our wine label for this one:



I'm calling it De Rei Vini.... which translates from the Itlaian as "The King of Wines" as Barolo is known to many. The image is a photo I took of a wall fresco in the Capodemonte Museum in Naples, Italy.
