JUST SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS !
Why I choose this Goal: Plastic bags... what a waste of resources.
What I did: We bring reusable cloth bags to the store whenever possible or ask for paper bags. We use two cloth bags for shopping and bring along old plastic or paper bags and re-use them if we have lots of purchases. We also have a cloth bag for our library books.
What to use your old plastic bags for(so they get at least one more use):
1- Dog poo. Use it to pick up after your pet does his "business".
2- Use them to line your trash can in your home. Don't buy more plastic bags--- recycle the old ones--- or better yet use paper.
3- Use them at the store when you go shopping.
4- Put them in your recycle bin on garbage day.
5- Return them to the recycle bin at your grocery store so they can recycle them.
