101 in 1001-- Item #97-- Publish a Family Newsletter

Why I Chose This Goal: The need to feel connected with our family and friends who live hundreds or thousands of miles away. Each year I send out a one pge Christmas letter and thought that expanding it to several times a year would be a goo, family thing.

What I Did: Yesterday I mailed out a six page "Gazette" to both family and friends. Is it a little corny? Yes. Is it the best writing in the world? No. But it does get to everyone that is important in my life and it shares not only information with them but also photos (both current and archived). I hope that in some small way I can stay more connected with them both now and into the future. Judging from the positive response I have been successful.
