29-27 Spartans Lose To Central Mich... Boo!
How does a Big Ten team get beat by Central Michigan?
The Chips missed a 2pt conversion with 32 ticks left and then recovered their onside kick. They effortlessly moved into FG range- getting 5 yards closer thanks to a stupid Spartan penalty (that gave them another try after they missed the FG the first time) and kicked it through the uprights for a huge upset win.
Coach Dantonio must have gone crazy after the game!!!
But Spartans had no real running game and played a "sieve-like" defense. Unless we put Montana State on the schedule for six or seven more games it could be a long depressing season.
