Another Timely Response From President Obama

60 + days later:

From the G-8: "We deplore the attack on 26 March that caused the sinking of the Republic of Korea's naval vessel, the Cheonan, resulting in tragic loss of 46 lives."

From the President: After meeting the South Korean leader on the sidelines of the summit, Mr Obama said: "There has to be consequences for such irresponsible behaviour."

Imagine needing *only* two months to get around to saying something and making a decision. I guess he needed to *think it over* ... sort of along the lines of General McCrystal's request for more troops and the BP Gulf Oil Spill... Those each took over two months, too.

(Making decisions takes a lot out of you--- especially when you are
trying
to fit it in between rounds of golf and family vacations)

I hope we don't need any quick judgments from the Oval Office any time soon. Seems we need two months of lead time for a decision to be made. It seems you just can't get away with voting *present* anymore if you're the Commander-in-Chief.
