Well I'll start out by saying that water did fall from the sky. I grew up in the Midwest and when we said we were going to get some rain... it meant big rain, big drops and wet streets. Since we moved to California it has taken on a different meaning. Out here you plan on rain and get advised on the news that "rain is coming". When it does fall- and it usually isn't much-drivers get crazy and traffic slows to a crawl. There are accidents galore.
Many call in to work sick and nearly everyone is late due to "all the rain and traffic". Most times less than 1/4" falls all day long. Yes- it's called drizzle or mist out East.
Remember... Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body- but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy s***...what a ride!" ----->Don't let your tombstone read: Died at 30- Buried at 80.
