57- Aztecs B-Ball Falls to BYU

They had risen to #4 in the NCAA men's basketball polls but they couldn't handle rival Brigham Young (again) and got beats 80-67. SDSU's season record tied them with BYU. Both schools have identical 27-2 records. Both of the Aztec losses were to the Cougars.

This has been a good season for Aztec sports. They did well in football... winning their Bowl game over the Naval Academy and are most certainly going to the NCAA March Madness Tournament barring a total collapse.
