Salvation Mountain is Leonard Knight's tribute to God and his gift to the world with its simple yet powerful message: "God Is Love." My cut: This was one of the highlights of my trip to visit the Salton Sea. It was worth the ten minutes spent looking around. Other sites in the area: Slab City, Salton Sea Museum... very tough to find... I never did, the dead sea itself and the city of Brawley. Lots agriculture in the area- but I have no idea what crops were being grown.
