Remember... Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body- but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy s***...what a ride!" ----->Don't let your tombstone read: Died at 30- Buried at 80.

Put up or Shut up
It's time for wealthy Democrats to put their money where their mouth is. All those wealthy Hollywood and media types who supported and donated money to President Obama's campaign and election need to step up to the plate and create some jobs.
Led by Moveon.org founder George Soros, they all tossed bags of ca$h into Obama's election coffers. Now it's time for them to funnel that money into creating businesses and jobs to get our economy moving. I don't mean welfare money like give-aways for food banks and shelters. That's the easy way out. I mean let's get people working, off the government welfare teet and out of the unemployment lines.
If you give a man a fish you feed him today if you teach him to fish he can feed himself for a lifetime. Isn't that how the saying goes?
But the big give away----that's the easy and cheesy way out. America wasn't founded as a welfare state but as a land of opportunity. A place where everyone has the chance to be whatever they want--- through hard work. Taking the opportunity away and subjugating Americans to welfare money and handouts to live on is, in my opinion, just another way to enslave the people to their political masters (big government). When you become dependent on big government you give away your freedom to be everything God intended for you.
C'mon now... let's see what we can do to get America back into the economic game. All that talk about change- let's see it. Let's see the rich Democrats start creating jobs instead raising taxes and handing out welfare checks... for a change.
If you think I am cynical about all this "change talk" you're right. I'm a little skeptical of a plan to toss ca$h at people instead of creating meaningful work for them to do. The goal of our country in these economic times should be to create some jobs rather than create more shoppers.
What do you think?
